Reciprocating compressors operate at high temperaturess and pressures and thier main requirement is to sustain a strong film so as to avoid surface wear. Being formulated from high viscocity index base oils, MAK compressor oils provide better film strength even at high temperatures. They have shown low carbon forming tendency, good demulsibility, low sludge and deposit and exceptional resistence to oxidation and thermal degradation. They have been blended with fitting additive dosage to impart, anti corrosive and anti-wear properties. 

 

These oils are recommended for high performance reciprocating and rotary air compressors where air discharge temperatures may go up to 220o C. MAK Compressor Oil 150 is approved by RDSO for use in Expressors / Compressors on diesel and electric locomotives of Indian Railways.

These are premium quality EP gear oils blended from high viscocity index, solvent refined high quality base oils. These contain sulphur/phosphorous addotoves which impart high level of performance in respect of anti-wear and extreme pressure property. These oils also possesss excellent oxidation and thermal stability and anti-foam characteristics.

SEETUL grades are refrigeration compressor oils.
The grades are formulated from specially selected lube base stocks to provide low pour point, low floc point, dryness, good chemical stability and ready solubility in liquified refrigerants.
They have additional characteristics of low freon floc point.
